The Diffuser Bracelet for Your Favorite Minimalist
Dainty, delicate and chic. What’s not to love about minimalist jewelry? For two weeks I’ve been sporting Lava Essentials’ Oval Essential Oil Diffuser Bracelet and (huzzah) it just might end up being my signature piece.
Ever since I made my own diffuser mala, I’ve been on the lookout for something to wear that diffuses daily but doesn’t feel bulky or tacky. Enter Lava Essentials.
Lava Essentials’ jewelry is handcrafted in Wisconsin by the jewelry artist Chynna. It uses unprocessed lava stone because synthetic/dried lava becomes waxy and doesn’t hold a scent for nearly as long. Lava Essentials’ chains are sterling silver or gold filled (never plated and nickel free)—anything less and the metal would oxidize when it came in contact with the essential oils.
What I Love About It:
This bracelet holds scent really well, especially if you let the essential oils soak in for a couple of minutes before rubbing the excess off. Depending on the oil I applied, the aroma lasted 3-4 days. It was lovely. If you want a less intense aroma you can always dilute it with jojoba oil.
Cons:
Sizing. Blush, I didn’t read the fact page about wrist measuring, so I ordered the smallest size but it’s still just a touch looser than I prefer bracelets to be. I think the next time I order a bracelet through Lava Essentials I’ll probably leave a note asking for the chain to be cut a tad shorter.
If you’re looking for a statement piece for diffuser jewelry I’ve also been eyeing necklaces from Hot Rocks.
