Our Fav Amazon Prime Find: Activated Charcoal Organic Soap
In the spirit of the pending Prime Day, Hazel and I wanted to share one of our favorite Amazon Prime purchases: Soap Haven’s Activated Charcoal Organic Soap.
We’re talking four organic handmade bars for $25 dollars. Yes, please! Charcoal soap is naturally antibacterial, anti-odor and antifungal. It also works wonders on acne. Plus, charcoal is inert (meaning it won’t irritate skin or cause a reaction).
Soap Haven’s vegan bars are handmade in the USA with Saponified Organic Palm Oil (sustainably farmed source), Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Olive Oil and Activated Charcoal. Ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides or fumigation. Each bar is unscented.
What Lemon Love’s About It: This bar cleanses and suds up well. Sometimes I even use it as a shaving cream replacement. The coconut oil’s natural acids (Lauric, Capric, and Caprylic) are heaven sent to help ease TTOTM (that time of the month) blemishes.
Hazel’s Take: The sunflower oil’s high lipid count helps retain moisture. So I used lotion after I shower. That's nice.
Cons: If you haven’t used a charcoal soap before, be prepared for some black residue on your shower floor. Just give it an extra wash and you should be fine.

Soap Haven is a bit vague about it's involvement with PremaTouch, so we'd love to read a bit more about their social enterprising partnership (hence the A-).
Good for Earth - We love that Soap Haven uses sustainable palm oil in their soap & that it comes packaged in a reusable muslin bag.
C&C Overall - We're cheering for a bit more information to be added to the Soap Haven website (more about sourcing and social change) and but we love how this soap cleans and that it comes in bulk.
