Eat Pretty: Cleansing with Cabala Juice
Don Tolman is the gerent of the granola world. His ideas on health are uncommon and it might be hard to look past his macho wild-west mustache—but if there’s there’s one thing most people agree on, it’s the fact that his Cabala cleanse works wonders.
Tolman’s Cabala recipe is simple, in fact, the name itself stands for the ingredients:
C - 2.2 kg Carrots
A - 2 x Red Apples
B - 1 Beet (1/3 fist size)
A - 2 x Yellow Apples
L - 1 x Lemon (yep, that means the rind too)
A - 2 x Green Apples
Cabala juice is said to be good for the blood, good for resetting your body and a good transitional juice that helps people get more raw nutrition. Tolman swears by the juices ability to help clear up acne and plaque build-ups.
So what is cabala like? Think frothy, filling, bright-pink apple juice.
I like to juice, chill and drink Cabala about twice a month. For me it create a nice break amidst my usual meal go-tos and it feels a bit easier on my digestive system. I also appreciated how the natural sugars in Cabala seem to help tone down my typical 9 pm dark chocolate craving.

Happy Cabala-ing!
