Let's Talk About Pacifica’s Transcendent Concealer

Let's Talk About Pacifica’s Transcendent Concealer

If I learned anything from Goop’s (often perused) makeup master classes, it’s this: concealer is critical.  And, with the right liquid concealer in-hand your full-wearing foundation days are soon to be in the past.

Anyways, since I ran out of my recent favorite cream concealer I decided to give Pacifica’s liquid concealer a try.

Pros:  Pacifica’s Transcendent Concealer provides a lovely amount of full-day coverage (all without feeling cakey). The first time I applied it I was worried because it felt so watery and looked a bit “orangey” compared to the typical tones I use. I also feared it might be a bit too sheer for daily use.  My fears were unfounded.  You only need to apply a few small dots over your primer, BB Cream or tinted moisturizer, and a little goes a long ways.  If you do have a blemish, the concealer is also buildable, and I’ve found it works well with my RMS beauty tinted “Un” Powder and even better with my Omiana powder foundation.  On the daily, I use the concealer use to lighten under my eyes for a brightening effect. I go a full day without concealer crease!

Things to Be Mindful Of: I’m hoping in the future Pacifcia adds heaps more shades to their concealer line. Right now, there are only two shades to choose from. My fingers are crossed they hope on the Fenty 40 bandwagon and introduce a more a broad range of more inclusive tones.

Also, it’s good to keep in mind that because Pacifica uses more natural ingredients, occasionally the formula can separate. Don’t fret though. That separation is not permanent. In fact, it’s a quick fix. You just need to pump the concealer’s stick back and forth a bit to remix. Easy peasy.

Do you have a no-make up hack that you swear by? My sister and I would love to hear about it! What tips/tricks and natural makeup brands do you use? Let us know in the comments below!

I love keeping things light with this watery, super-smooth feeling concealer—it adds all the coverage I need without all the caking. It spreads beautifully and is subtle enough to help you nail your no-makeup look. It even works on my acne-days (I just make sure to double layer the concealer and then dust on a powder foundation).
